 “Domaine de Gournier is well perceived by followers for it’s tremendous value!”

Born in Nîmes, Maurice Barnouin followed right in his father’s footsteps. In 1959, Maurice’s father purchased Domaine de Gournier originally using the land to grow fruit and vegetable crops. After years of a love for wine, Maurice and his father began growing vines cloned directly from vineyards located on the right bank of Bordeaux. After years of selling their grapes to the local co-op, Maurice felt so strongly about his vines and fruit that he began bottling and cellaring his own wine.
