With four stores and almost 15,000 square feet of retail space in Naperville, the Peterson brand epitomizes the standards that Naperville has become known for. The Peterson approach to the Naperville community is focused on superior customer service and hand selected inventory. Every bottle of wine on a Peterson shelf has been tasted personally by Victoria Peterson, CEO and Managing Partner for the Peterson brand. The goal for our company is to be conveniently located to our customer base.
In 2002 Peterson Wine Cellars was organized and started doing business in downtown Wheaton, Illinois. In July of 2003, Peterson Wine Cellars opened their first Naperville location at 33 West Jefferson next to Costello Jewelry. In August of 2005 Peterson acquired Waterford Spirits & Fine Wines located on the corner of Route 59 & 87th Street across from the White Eagle development and renamed the store Peterson Spirits & Fine Wines. In April of 2009, Peterson acquired the assets and location of Cabernet and Company in the Naperville Plaza at 88 West Gartner Road and renamed that store to Peterson Spirits & Fine Wines as well.
The Peterson brand is widely acknowledged as Naperville’s choice for fine wines and as Naperville’s wine experts. The company serves some of Naperville’s most affluent neighborhoods from their three convenient locations. Their services range from traditional retail to consultations for private cellar collections as well as working with local businesses, organizations and individuals to plan and facilitate private wine tasting events.
