Macrostie Wildcat Mountain Chardonnay
“Vibrant fruit drives this wine with the underlying minerality and lemon ginger known for this vineyard. This wine has weight, substance and complexity. It finishes long with a note of honey which is this wine’s signature. 1,000 cases produced.”Winemaker Notes

Aquinas Pinot Noir, Napa and Sonoma Counties, California
Aquinas Pinot Noir is an intensely aromatic wine displaying notes of sweet cherry, Tahitian vanilla crème brulee and raspberry compote. It has a remarkably rich fruit flavor of sweet cranberry and pomegranate, both nuances of Napa, along with sour cherry and a pleasant earthiness which are contributions from the Sonoma Coast. The addition of Petite Sirah gives mid-palate weight to this bright, medium-bodied wine.

Acquinas Cabernet, Napa and Sonoma Counties, California
Aquinas Cabernet Sauvignon is filled with aromas of dried cherry, cocoa nibs and black currant along with toasted coconut notes from 16 months of American oak aging. Blackberry, tart cherry, gingerbread and cappuccino flavors lead to a velvety mid-palate. This full-bodied, well-balanced North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon culminates with a long, expressive finish.

Medium Holiday Basket with Two Bottles of Wine
Sale $45.99, Reg. Price $68.99

Surprise your loved one or colleague with this loaded gift basket filled with snacks and two of our best selling wines. Jacobs Creek Two Lands Shiraz and Chardonnay are a unique marriage created by two award-winning winemakers from opposite sides of the world. The resulting masterpiece shows off these totally unique Australian wines that marry Californian winemaking craft with Australian varietal character. They’re among the most crowd-pleasing wines we have come across and would make any connoisseur smile upon just one sip.

Large Holiday Basket- Four Different Options to Choose from!
Sale $59.99, Reg. Price $89.99

Spanish Exploration Basket:
Discover Spain’s stylish mix of wines with this decadent basket of four Spanish selections and loads of goodies to pair with each: Bohigas Brut Reserva Cava, a balanced and dry sparkling perfect for tapas, Gazela Sangria Rosé, a young and fresh wine, Can Rafols Terraprima Red, a masculine red grown in the Garraf Massif mountain range south of Barcelona, and last but not least, Rey Noble Graciano, typically a varietal used to blend with Tempranillo but on its own is bold and powerful.

Italian Exploration Basket:
A country known to hold more unique varietals than the entire world combined, Italy is one of the oldest wine regions in the world. Unfortunately, most know Italy for just Pinot Grigio and Chianti, but there is so much more to taste and discover: Altemasi Brut Sparkling is delicious and created in the same style as Champagne at a fraction of the price. Ruche di Castagnole Monferratto is from an heirloom grape, Ruche, from Piemonte yielding an aromatic bouquet. Fidora Valpolicella Classico is one of Italy’s finest blends comprised of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. Yum!

French Exploration Basket:
For those who love the old world and are romantics are heart, our French wine basket is the perfect selection. Braun Sylvaner is a mysterious white that shows distinctive notes of citrus, honey, smoke and earth. Chateau Ducourt Bordeaux Rouge is a riveting red blend with notes of cassis, earth and minerality. Riva Droite Côtes du Rhône is a fan favorite that is full bodied, spicy and displays rich dark fruit. Three fantastic representations of France.

South American Exploration Basket:
South America is home to one of the fastest wine growing regions in the world. The wines have world class qualities at a fraction of California prices and we’re loving the trio offered here. Leyda Garuma Sauvignon Blanc is a complex white with notes of herb, green chili, pink grapefruit and lime. Luyt Carignan Trequilemu is 100% Carignan from Chile that is headed by award winning Burgundy winemaker, Louis-Antoine Luyt. Antigal Uno Cabernet Sauvignon stems from Mendoza, Argentina and features velvet soft tannins, deep chocolate and cassis.

Celebrate Mom and Everything Rosé
Saturday, May 13: 1-5pm @ Gartner and Chicago Avenue stores

As we gear up for one of the BEST holidays of the year (wink wink), why not consider bringing mom to one of our stores for an afternoon of rosé wine tasting! Before you start thinking rosé is the stuff you were coerced into drinking back in the day when you couldn't afford anything better, JUST STOP RIGHT THERE!

Did you know that true rosé wine is actually dry, not sweet? Some of the best rosé is found in France, Spain or California and is the result of a winemaking process where the skins are kept intact until just after crush giving the wine a pinkish hue. This tedious process delivers a dry product that resembles the body of a red while providing the crispness and minerality of a white. Learn more and taste our collection of rosés Saturday, May 13th at our Chicago Ave. and Gartner Rd. stores!
