2013 Jacob's Creek Two Lands Shiraz
Blowout Case Price $84 (Reg. $168/case or $14/bt.)

South Australia’s 2013 vintage was one of the earliest and shortest in recent memory, with high temperatures and low rainfall leading to reduced yields but exceptional quality. In this vintage of Two Lands Shiraz, Winemaker Bernard Hickin and award-winning Californian winemaker Ehren Jordan set out to redefine Australian Shiraz by giving it some of the flair of Californian Syrah for which Ehren is renowned. Bernard suggested sourcing fruit from the Padthaway region and Langhorne Creek where they chose to pick the fruit later than normal to maximize the variety’s intense and generous flavors. The result is a big, ripe but complex wine expressing the more generous side of Australian Shiraz, with soft tannins and an attractive texture on the finish.

This luscious Shiraz shows off immediate sex appeal with a bold nose of ripe plum, blackberries and hints of prune and dried fruits. The full-bodied character exceeds all expectations with incredible depth and a prolonged finish. There are no words for this delicious, high-quality, classic red at this low, low price!

2014 Jacob's Creek Two Lands Chardonnay
Blowout Case Price $84 (Reg. 168/case or $14/bt.)

This Two Lands Chardonnay is a fusion of winemaking expression. Jacob’s Creek Chief Winemaker Bernard Hickin and award-winning Californian winemaker Ehren Jordan set out to create a distinctive, full-flavoured Chardonnay that combines Australian character and Californian craftsmanship. With his extensive knowledge of South Australian vineyards, Bernard selected the right fruit to match their vision for a vibrant wine that would showcase its generous varietal flavors in new and exciting ways. Parcels were chosen from the Padthaway, Wrattonbully and Coonawarra regions and together the winemakers decided to pick the fruit later in the season than normal, allowing time on the vine to increase sugar levels and reduce acidity.

Whether you are a Chardonnay lover or not, you cannot help but fall in love with this beauty. The nose is beautiful showcasing white peach and melon aromas with an attractive creamy nutty and toasty character. The vibrant palate gives tasters a feeling of generosity with oodles of ripe melon and white peach flavors cutting seamlessly through zesty citrus notes. Hands down- you won’t find another chardonnay as good as this for under $10!

2015 Jacob's Creek Two Lands Pinot Grigio
Blowout Case Price $84 (Reg. $168 or $14/bt.)

For this second release of Two Lands Pinot Grigio, grapes were sourced from the Limestone Coast, Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula. All three regions experienced a vintage to celebrate, marked by almost ideal weather conditions. Together, winemakers Hickin and Jordan sought out to create a wine that delivers a rich, full flavor with finesse and elegance. Careful vineyard selection achieved this goal since each offered moderate to cool conditions. The vibrancy of flavor and ripe fruit profile helped ensure the wine delivered a distinctive "oily" texture and mouth-feel. Additionally, the wine was left on the lees for an extended period of time while also aged in older oak barrels. The result is a lush feel with California-like style that added layers to the high-quality Australian fruit.

Truly a Pinot Grigio for a white wine connoisseur, Two Lands does not miss a beat on this tremendous wine. Bright, pure aromatics are to the fore, with enhanced softness thanks to lower acidity, a hint of preserved natural sweetness and a luscious textural finish.
