Upon walking into any one of the Peterson locations, you will find a Weekly Top Ten displayed at the front of the store. As each of our stores is unique, so is this weekly list with each store holding it's own fan favorites. Many of our customers look forward to shopping from this popular showcase which is why every July we announce and taste the Mid-Year Top sellers for each store. Stop into any Peterson location Saturday, July 25th and taste some of our customer's tried and true favorites from 2015!

Surly Furious IPA-- $11.99/6pk

Like Hops? You'll like this fine hued beer. Golden Promise is used extensively for whiskey distilleries and this malt provides the backbone for the intense hop character. Four American hop varieties are used a a rate of over 3 pounds per barrel. Urban Chestnut Schnickelfritz Weiss-- $
Unmistakable characteristics of the Bavarian Weissbier are achieved with a yeast that is decidely fruity and phenolic. You may note clove, nutmeg or even vanilla and/or banana like aromas and flavors.

Crispin Ciders (Original, Pear and Blackberry Pear)-- $6.99/4pk
Classically refined but not styled as a traditional "sweet beer"  beer alternative. Crispin hard ciders are naturally fermented and not from concentrate.  Filtered cold for extra purity, with no added colorants, sugar, sorbate or benzoate preservatives as well as no added malt, spirit, grape or apple alcohols.
Original- A classically styled, but untraditional hard apple cider. Fruit forward, with a fresh, crunchy appley nose and a deliciously refreshing, crisp mouth feel.
Blackberry Pear- Naturally elegant and refreshingly adult with a sweet-sharp blackberry tang and mouthwatering juicy complexity, complemented by a luscious pear-berry bouquet.
Pear- Naturally elegant and refreshingly adult with a sparkling natural pear finish and a subtle woody complexity, complemented by an intense fresh pear bouquet.

Koval Bourbon Whiskey-- $49.99
This 51% corn based bourbon presents ginger bread, vanilla wafers, molasses, basil, black tea, cinnamon and nutmeg. It is herbal and spicy (but in a different way than rye flavored bourbons) with a backbone of sweetness. The finish is short and sweet with lingering spices of bread pudding and banana bread. Light in body.

Breckenridge Vodka-- $19.99
Made from a base of 100% American grown corn which means a lighter, sweeter flavor this vodka is nearly flawless and silky in its presence. It is given a traditional charcoal filtration through coconut shells and blended down with Rocky mountain snow melt which provides a depth of flavor missing in "mainstream" vodkas.

Cooper and Kings Immature Brandy-- $29.99
Double distilled from grape spirits this non-chill filtered un-aged brandy has a clean, un-corrupted natural flavor for a smooth complex taste. Tropical fruit aroma notes of citrus and ripe plum. Smooth mouth feel with crisp clean lingering finish. 

Dry Creek Heritage Zinfandel 2013 -- $17.99

Tarima Monastrell 2012 -- $8.99

Bright purple, powerful aromas of blueberry, blackberry, violet and Indian spices. Displays vibrant flavors of smoky dark berries, bitter cherru and candied flowers, with a peppery overtone. The sweet fruit driven finish repeats the smoky note and hangs on tenaciously. 90 Points International Wine Cellar

Wente Morning Fog Chardonnay 2013 -- $13.99

Robust in mouth feel, offers subtlety in flavor and an appetizing tangy texture. It seems to develop more with each sip. Look for light aromas of apple and fig flavors that gain a touch of butter and almond. Medium body. 90 Points Wine Enthusiast

La Cana Albarino 2013-- $14.99

Green tinged yellow. High pitched aromas of lime zest, green apple, ginger and chalky minerals showing very good clarity. Bright and nervy on the palate offering bitter citrus fruit quince flavors and a floral nuance. Weightier on the persistent finish which features pear and melon character and repeating minerality. About 15% of this wine was barrel fermented. 90 Points Wine Spectator

Zorzal Pinot Noir 2013 -- $16.99

The 2013 Terroir Unico Pinot Noir follows the idea of the Terroir Unico range, to show the pure expression of the grape and the place in a line of unoaked wines.This was 20-30% whole cluster fermented and is very pale colored, almost a rose, very perfumed with aromas of red fruit and flowers opening to a light to medium bodied palate, high acidity (blood orange) and a pure, fresh finish. Highly drinkable. 91 Points Wine Advocate
